The portrait series consists of six plates where the plasticism of the figures blends with the geometries in the background.

A language where realistic descriptions become decorative and the features of the figures are transformed into stories full of intimacy. The drawings by Vincenzo D'Alba and Antonio Marras appear in this series in absolute complementarity.The hands and their gestures enhance an introspective dimension closely linked to a rarefied pictorial colourism. The signs of Antonio Marras and Vincenzo D'Alba are fused in an unprecedented dialogue full of expressiveness.

The partnership with Antonio Marras aims to create a wide range of products characterised by a strong graphic value and an important focus on tradition. The collection is the result of work carried out in collaboration with Vincenzo D'Alba. The graphic synthesis arrived at by the two artists is in line with Kiasmo's mission, which focuses on the expressive quality of the design, on a constant study of history, and therefore on a contemporaneity far removed from formalism.
