- TYPE OF SELLER
Our version of an “adventure” issue, we follow Belinda Carlisle and her best friend, artist Lisa Borgnes Giramonti, through Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, on their Silk Road trip. Then we get up close on a women-only Sahara desert race that allows no GPS only maps. Milder adventures as well include a how-to/where-to “brocante” in France, a visit to the Fife Arms in Scotland, Satellite Island in Tanzania, Castelmagno with Mimi Thorisson, Niemeyer masterpieces in Brazil, Todos Santos as your next beach vacation, and more. Cover by Clara Hranek, who photographed Christy Turlington in Greece, somewhere between Patmos and Leros.
