This item is an Author's Proof, magnificent specimen of Arabian thoroughbred, made of porcelain.
This piece is part of the historical collection of Lladró. An exquisitely executed sculptural, ornamental and decorative creation.
The concept of High Porcelain is the highest expression of Lladró's work. Only models that embody values of beauty and technical perfection at the highest level of excellence belong to this category.
The birth of a Lladró porcelain begins with the original idea of its author. The sculptor gives shape, in clay or plasticine, to a sketch based on his own inspiration. There are creations so complex that they need to be divided into more than 400 fragments. Especially when it comes to the key moment: the firing in the kiln. As the artists say, porcelain is alive and it is in the kiln where the success of each creation will be judged. Many of the unfindable pieces took many years to make, which increases their value.
