ART TOYS
Pop, street and urban culture is bringing a new strand in contemporary art and collecting to the forefront: art toys. These are objects made of wood, metal, vinyl or other plastic materials that are released in limited editions by renowned artists and represent the perfect intersection between art and toys. What started this new form of art collecting was undoubtedly the eastern part of the world, Japan and Korea in the lead, where action figures have always been very popular. From there, the phenomenon spread to become a global trend.
