Veuve Clicquot has celebrated its first 250 years and is celebrating it by touring the world with its characteristic good taste, positivity and great attention to talented women. As the creators of the works
THE GRANDE DAME DE LA CHAMPAGNE
Barbe-Nicole Ponsardine was one of the first female entrepreneurs in Europe at a time when women played no role in the business world. Widowed and only 27 years old, Madame Clicquot took the reins of the Maison and determinedly led the champagne production house, breaking the barriers for women of her time, and revolutionizing the world of Champagne.
Champagne is a legendary wine, the entire history of the Maison Veuve Clicquot is characterized by mythical wines. Madame Clicquot who, intrigued by the quality of the wine, perfected new production techniques, inventing the first Millésimé in 1810, the 'remuage' table in 1816 to purify the champagne from sediment and the first ever rosé champagne in 1818.
"Our wines must flatter the palate as well as the eye," says Madame Clicquot, convinced that appearance is as important as taste. Therefore, attention to design care and aesthetics have always been in Veuve Clicquot's DNA since its founding, a lesson that remains the cultural heritage of Veuve Clicquot, a house that has won several awards for its creative and innovative design over the years.

Solaire Culture showcases Veuve Clicquot's 250 years of heritage, know-how and culture. Inaugurated at the Jing in Tokyo, it will be available this October 26 in Los Angeles, where it will remain until November 17, before continuing on to London, Sydney and Cape Town in 2023.
"This exhibition is an unprecedented event for Veuve Clicquot and a symbol of our ability to dream big and constantly innovate." said Jean Marc Gallot, president and CEO of Veuve Clicquot.

The exhibition, created by French curator Camille Morineau and designer Constance Guisset, is an immersive experience that invites consumers to learn about both the history and spirit of Veuve Clicquot.
It features unique works of art, as well as exceptional jewels: a portrait of Madame Clicquot reinterpreted by world-renowned artist Yayoi Kusama, 20 extraordinary historical documents, including a letter signed by Madame Clicquot, and an original Veuve Clicquot bottle from 1840, an epic discovery in the Baltic Sea after a shipwreck.

The spirit of Veuve Clicquot is also largely linked to promoting the future of women leaders, guided by Madame Clicquot, the Maison is committed to supporting bold and creative women who forge a path for generations to come.
